ok we buy chops for 4mill he becomes one of the championships leading scorers. Then we sell him for 2mill. Not even the Riddler is that inept. Come on the silly season has well and truly began sureley at the very least we would want our money back.
Anyway why would he want to go to Scotland ? there top league is championship or even first div standard at best apart from two clubs. And lets not forget celtic havent beaten us in there last two attempts. Unless you hear officially we are buying or selling anyone beleave feck all.

yeh in hindsight that was criminal. But can you imagine the outcry had he excepted that from Stoke city. City fans would have gone mental blaming them of no ambition. How would the club know Ledley would turn shite ?

I've been ridiculed for saying since we signed Chopra that it was an expensive gamble we couldn't afford. I do like Chopra, though I do prefer McCormack, but it simply wasn't a viable option for a club in our position to sign him. It would be a help were he to bring money into the club and equally to get him off the wage bill, however due to how generously Mr Ridsdale dishes out llucrative contracts, it will not be significant enough to considerably lessen a wage bill of £1.2m per month. At least if Chops does go, we have a quality player in Ross to come in, but then he's been here all along which made his signing above other areas such as midfielders complete folly imo.

I suspect the interest is that of Champions League football. Puts Chopra in the european shop window then doesn't it ?
although i still think this story is b**locks!
