That's one thing I don't get with asylum seekers. Their argument is that they come here to be safe from being harmed in their own country. But surely when that threat has gone then there's no reason why they can't go back. If it's a case of them coming here and staying here forever then surely it's migration rather than seeking asylum.
In the second world war the UK sheltered a lot of people who then returned to their homes when the war was over. They were proud and happy to do this because they loved their native country and wanted to rebuild and make their home a better place.
Also many people who came here looking for safty were held in Internment camps because the UK couldn't tell if they'd been infiltrated by Nazis'. Pretending to be fleeing Jews etc, the German's would have had an easy entry in to the UK and so been able to fight from within enemy lines. For that reason Churchill ordered that they were locked inside camps. The refugees didn't mind because they were safer here and they were well treated.
These days Asama Bin Laden himself could wonder in and out of the UK at will as long as he gave a false name etc, he could do whatever he wanted whilst he was here as well because the do gooders and the human rights people would protect him.

The country has become more than a joke. There's this then that other one where a convicted murderer serving time is sueing his employer for wrongful dismissal
He was already banned so obvioulsy a wrong un when it comes to cars. How did this drag on for seven years for fucks sake and whose paying for the slime to stay in this country? Although socialism is the preserve of pampered upper class toffs or those who simply cannot think for themsleves, the socialists of old the CCSP did have a very good solution to these types of problems, a simple bullet to the back of the head. Maybe I've been too harsh on our lefty friends over the years, they do have the odd good idea.

Unbelievable. he should be shipped back to where he came from.

Kick him out the utter scumbag.
Thu Dec 16, 2010 6:44 pm
The piece of shit should be ran over himself now that would infringe on his pissing human rights. At the least he should be given a rowing boat and to to start paddling and if he turns around any one can take pot shots at him.
But seriously this is what Labour bought to the table, now the Tories promised us they would chuck the Human rights act out and they have gone back on there word which makes them as bad as Labour. Put the BNP in charge this shit wouldn't happen as that arsehole should not even be on our shores.
RANT OVER

I'm not disagreeing with you Berwyn, but once an Asylum Seeker sets foot on British soil it is almost impossible to deport them because they claim a right to 'family life' even if their homeland eventually becomes safe.
As long as they breed whilst they are here they are untouchable, even if they don't give a shit about their children.
It's the bloody Human Rights Act that causes all the trouble. Asylum claimants also eat up millions from the legal aid budget and it is heavily disappointing that David Cameron has decided to ditch an election promise to reappeal this terrible law.

Tony, like stated above, this country is crying out for a Thatcher, a leader with some balls who's not afraid to take people on. I hated everything about Thatcher but I'd welcome her back with open arms just to sort out the happy clappy do-gooders and human rights people. The one thing you could say for her was she wasn't afraid to grab hold of the European bollocks and give them a good squeeze.

In principle I agree with you Berwyn but I hate Thatcher so much I could never wish her back. The problem is if this continues something far more extreme than Maggie might one day come to power.

We are a laughing stock. Europe just makes a path for the fuckers and its
'Britain here we come'
Now before you pathetic 'PC' 'theyve got to live somewhere' brigade start, look
at the facts...
We signed up to an internationally recognised law that all Countries should offer political asylum
to people in fear of their lives in their own country. The stipulation being that if
you have a genuine 'fear' for your life, you seek sanctuary in the first safe country
you reach (makes sense doesnt it)... Britain happily ignores this particular rule and
allows Iraqis/Afghans/Somalis to travel halfway across the world to get here to
erm "reach safety"... So we let them all in, breaching every rule WE helped
to make!!!
But once they are here, if they turn out to be lying cheating thieving raping
murdering scum... we let them stay!!
Why?
Erm... cos we signed up to an Internationally recognised Human Rights law
that says we cant throw the fuckers out.
The country is fucked

it will get to stage when there will be a backlash from people who will realize that our whole way of life is being undermined.
this will make the recent protests childs play by comparison.

I normally get called a hand wringing liberal on here but I agree fully with all of the other posters sentiments.
This scumbag has loads of previous serious convictions.
He should be on the first plane out of here. He has completely abused the hospitality shown to him.
And no taffyapple, wanting this piece of filth slung out is not racist.

This human rights law is also so idiotic in that if the average person like you or I were to use it, it simply wouldn't work. It always benefits the scumbags though. It has only ever benefitted tosspots, no one else. Anyone give me an example where it has been put to good use?

Its a step.
But Cameron can always turn round, say he agrees with the Great British Voting Public,
then tell us all he has no juristiction over the Human Rights Law (yes, the very same
one he promised to repeal!!!)
Fri Dec 17, 2010 4:24 pm
This needs as many people like Cameron involved as possible , this isn't the first case like this , but it ought to be the fkin last !!!!!

Taffy as I said I totally agree with you and I want this C**t kicked out as much as everyone else.
However, it won't happen because the HRA trumps every other law. Therefore it doesn't matter how badly this b*stard has acted he will not be deported because he is 'entitled' to a private family life without any responsibility to our society.
The appeal Judges Interpretation will mirror the one already found by the immigration tribunal and the appeal will fail.
The Human Rights Act should be repealed and a British Bill of Rights should be passed in its place. The Bill of Rights will still protect individuals from torture; entitle you to a fair trial and a family life.
However, the law will also expect the individual to accept responsibility for being a good citizen and understand that if you are not then you will forfeit some of your entitlements including one to private family life.
This would then open the door to kicking out this scumbag once and for all.
