O'Neil will still have the same bunch of jumped up, opinionated over paid bottlers as Dave Jones has. Its about time people realise that players are responsible here, jumped up pampered primadonna's. Any player that needs to be pampered or told to believe aint worth a wank, they are professionals and should act so. Its simple, most of our players aint up to it. Proof was in the play off final, they are bottlers and cant take pressure and are happy to just turn up and collect their overly paid cheques.
O'Neil = 4-4-2

Yeah I know, Im not sticking up for DJ, Im merely stating what sort of jumped up players we have and that have no care or thought for CCFC. Lets be honest, who do we have that shows passion. I know I can count them on one hand those that really bother.

I suppose it would be a statement of intent to hire a proven Premier League manager...if it's true

Well it would help if we had a motivator on the sidelines. Why should the players bother if our manager cant be arsed to unfold his arms even

I have a feeling if we get a change of manager we will quickly see a dramatic improvement. It is there in plain sight for everyone to see, these players simply do not want to play for Jones anymore. I know that's bad and they should be playing for us the fans but it doesn't always work like that. They have to have some belief in what their manager is telling them and I dont think they do. It's the end of the road for Dave Jones and I have a feeling things are moving at a rapid pace we are going to hear something soon from the club. Well I hope we do anyway. The Malaysians won't want any uncertainty for too long. They either have to sack him now or come out and back him. My feeling is they will sack him.

O'Neill walked away from a Prem team who should be competing to get into Europe.
Hands up who seriously believes he;d consider coming here?

It tickles me that professional footballers(more so ours) need motivating, they have a job to do alike any other profession. I hope the board f**k off half of our players as well.

I think he walked because, the board were selling players behind his back. That's not to say that he would come here though.
If he did, I think it would guarantee promotion.

Good manager but a bit like Keegan. Will walk if he doesn't get things his own way. Waste of time really.

He
would get his own way here though. Dave jones has been given a free rein.
O'Neill would be in charge from the under 10s right the way through to the 1st
team.
His record in the top flight is good. But he WONT accept false promises from above
or interference. To be honest, his work ethic would suit VT down to the ground.
Will we get him though? - nah not a f*cking hope
P.S - we'll piss promotion with him!

I believe he would be exactly the right manager for us, excellent football knowledge and experience. If it's true the currently DJ runs all things football not just the team then in my opinion O'Neill would be one of the few ideal replacements that are available
