What's On The Move And Who?

s been an interesting read certainly on this forum this morning that's for sure. From" reading between the lines " , in true Jack Black style ( from the School of Rock movie for those who have not viewed it!) In my opinion it seems that the Chief Executive whilst I thought was sitting tight to the Club Manager in relationship, has been relaying information that TG no doubt under the instruction of the impatient Vincent Tan to conclude interviews with currently out of work Managers within the London vicinity.

At the same time a planned meeting with former owner Sam Hammam was cancelled by TG no doubt as he had other pressing engagements as the fore mentioned.

Of course firstly it's the owners prerogative to do so if they wish, although it's not highly professional of their employed Chief Executive to share this information with the General Public especially in the fact that I assume that the current Club Manager is unaware of these meetings taking place.

On the other hand, if the Club Manager is aware of these meetings then we can presume that the Club Manager is on the verge of taking employment elsewhere, no doubt in a currently higher division . The bookmakers yesterday held Jones as one of the favourites for the Blackburn position, although today he seemed to be totally removed from these same spreadsheets.

It’s my opinion that if I go by the Bookmakers current spreadsheets that Tan has lost patience and as I have previously expressed insists on Premiership promotion this season to ensure quick fire return on investment he has laid to City in the way of loans, higher than he possibly thought he had to invest/lend to gain Premiership Football status.

So do we follow the spreadsheets of the bookmakers or do we follow the current tight relationship between the Club Manager and the Chief Executive?

In my opinion some of the names being banded around though don’t compel me with excitement but hopefully these were just initial interviews in the main and for the purpose of introduction and seeing what stock is available and maybe prepared to come to Cardiff.

One way or another something's on the move in my opinion.

They may be desperate for success like we all are but they wont want to pay up Jones contract and spend big on a new manager yet.

Even they can see that we still have a good chance of putting things right under and going up.

Next summer if we dont go up I think they will either spend big or more likely tak a hike.

Mafor, I am not saying they intend to pay DJ up, but if they did he would be paid up over a 12 month period.

another point to this ever increasing debate is,
if we have a new manager in would the shrewd buisness man that VT seems to be, bring him in on a lower wage and use promotion as a bonus carrot ??
given the position were in and the squad we have this would have to be enough for anyone ?
