Speaking to a Middlesboro Fan Last Night

Went to give blood last night and the guy extracting my blood was a bloody Middlesboro fan Anyway turned out he was a sound guy who although he's from the North east he lives down here and watches City 3 - 4 times a season. Anyway got talking about Riggott and Wheater (Possible Target in January?)

His opinion of Riggott was he's a very good player whose excellent in the air and will do a good job for us but as we all know he's very injury prone and hasn't spent that much time on the pitch in recent seasons With regards Wheater he has suffered a drastic loss of form and according to this guy is a shadow of the player he was but could possibly be down to the fact that he wants away from there So if we did sign Wheater and DJ is still here then he could be yet another player who would need 'a arm around him' and his confidence restored by the Manager.

I don't really rate Wheater. Even at his best I felt he was a mediocre player on form. I wouldn't want us to waste our time on him.

Agreed DJ does not seem to 'care' for the young players in the way he seems to look after our more 'wayward' signings like Chopra, Bothroyd and Whitts
