Your no wrong about him playing percentage football as he really does like the long ball, but although he will never admit it so does DJ. The difference between the two is that Big Sam knows how to organise a team to defend and there is now way he would go 2 years without having a replacement for Jay in the squad.

Remember Big Sam took Bolton Wanderers to the knockout stages of the Uefa Cup quite some achievement for a club the size of Bolton. Sam is a passionate manager with great man managements and tactical skills IMO he would be a great catch for any Championship club.

Anyone think DJ will ever get us to the knockout stages of the do the Europa League? :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Spot on, Allardyce would be the best man for us, he will turn us into a physical, organised team that's hard to beat. That, along with the quality we already have in the squad would allow us to walk the league in my opinion. Let's not forget Allardyce signed Okocha and Djorkaef for Bolton, so he likes his flair players as well. I think Allardyce would be the perfect manager for us as he would turn us into last seasons Newcastle, a well organised squad that's hard to beat with the quality to score goals. Allardyce would also keep us in the Premiership if we got there, Jones in my opinion, would take us straight back down if he ever managed to get us there.
