I checked before opening gob (I usually try to do that ) and it was a little over £2.00 for a package of that size/weight so by the time you add a little for packaging it is, as I said, a little OTT

Fully agree....a bargain IF you can get down there to collect but the 'offer' ends on Thursday, so no chance of collecting before/after the Burnley game. Shame....

Perhaps I'm not understanding you properly, but when you go to the checkout, you can choose when you wish to collect your purchase(s) and there is no charge if you collect it from the shop!

Whilst the offer ends on Thursday, you can still pick up the item(s) after that date, or perhaps you can get somebody to collect it/them, for you!

Where do you get 2 quid from though? I've just checked on the post office website and the cost would be - 1st class stamps is £4.50 and 1st class signed for is £5.24

So what the club shop is charging is only what the post office is charging. The post office are not cheap.

I do a lot on eBay and what shocks me the most is how so many people think the post office will carry your stuff and deliver it for free. They don't, they are really expensive. How the hell the post office are losing money I don't know.
