I know the feeling well, once switched my computer off after 3 hours of typing up an Economics essay without saving, do think the teacher believed my excuse...

Type it up in 'Word' with autosave switched on, also handy for spellchecker and stuff, then copy and paste

I had a 3000 word essay typed out in wordpad in my first months of uni, but the pc crashed so it all went bye bye. I quit soon after. Technology

Ok if we are all doing it, when Wales u21 played England u21, I had to pass up a ticket cos I had an essay to do, I wrote it all up then whilst I went to save it, it froze and was "not responding", I freaked out for about half hour wondering what to do but then by magic it unfroze, it was mental. I cheered out loud

WHY not type it up on word - you dont get timed out and its easy just to reg save throguthout the document as you are typing it that way you also have a copy of what you have typed in your folder

Once you have completed the full doc just copy n paste it onto here simples - done
