Interesting, a lot of people wanted him in charge not so long ago but he hasnt done the best job at Sheff United so no doubt everyone has changed there minds now. I think its an interesting choice, he certainly has respect

Yes, should be interesting to see how he does.

Too soon IMO, we need a more experienced manager at this present time to try and turn things around.

Wrong appointment in my opinion...it should have been that Swedish bloke, reasons are:-
1. Lacks international experience
2. Limited football management pedigree
3. Yes man (perhaps) to the FAW
Anyway, have'nt got enough time to debate this now, as my head is shot to bits with CCFC.........i,ve always been a DJ supporter, but now i,m not so sure.....fkinell who do we bring in???????????? and shall we pay the £700,000 to get rid of Jonesy boy
ARE THE PLAYERS HURTING AND FEELING SICK JUST AS MUCH AS WE ARE??????????

Hope that this isn't the case IMO. Was hoping the swede, Lagerback would get it. Would be nice to have a proven INTERNATIONAL manager in charge, who knows what it takes to get to a big competition. Don't think that appointing a welsh manager will inspire any more patriotism from the players, because I feel that is the FAW main agenda. I have seen enough lack of ambition and lacklustre performances under Toshack to sink any player's pride in playing for their country. IMO the only way to get the pride of pulling the red jersey back on is results, and I do not believe Speed is the man to do so after a mediocre half of a season with Sheff Utd.
