...is how 'top' Beeb pundit Steve Claridge described some fans' calls for DJ to be sacked.

Someone buy this dickhead a brain cell - a common definiton for 'ludicrous' would be: 'Causing laughter because of absurdity'. The only time it should be used when considering this scenario is for SC's intelligence and woeful attempt to conduct adequate research to perform his role to the degree he is supposed to - as apposed to cowardly shying away from offering an opinion/ fair argument that may rub up a fellow football professional the wrong way i.e. DJ.

The issue as to whether DJ's tenure at the helm of our great club should come to an end is hugely debatable, with a strong supporting rationale available to both sides of the argument. However to dismiss our fears and opinions as ludicrous is comparable to Audley Harrison's post fight assessment of his bout with David Haye - disturbing, coupled with the manifestation of pretty clear mental issues, imo of course
