we need a solid base to work from, look at ours

hudson - who makes too many mistakes and is too slow
blake - not a out and out cb
gyppes - league 1 defender, only picked because hes tall. dont trust him on the ball, also makes to many mistakes like today
naylor - i like him, but he can make too many mistakes, but i recon hes good enough for the whole season
mcnaughton -rock, solid, best def we have had in ages

so apart from our 2 full backs. it leads me onto the Cb's - Gyppes and hudson
in my opinion, they are not a "promotion" center back partnership
we cant go up with them two. To be fair blake tries but i rate him more at RB or CM

I THINK THAT THE REASON FOR OUR FAILINGS IS THE CB'S - OUR PLAYERS DONT FEEL CONFIDENT SCORING BECAUSE THEY DONT TRUST THE BACK. IM PRAYING TO SEE RIGGOT PLAY TO HOPE HE MAKES THIS MASSIVE DIFFERENCE, AND TRY TO LEAD AND ORGINISE THE DEFENCE, WITH HOPEFULLY ANOTHER CB RECRUIT IN JAN.

That basically says it all, if we are waiting upon an injury prone [Riggot] player to make a difference to the defence.
