Most people on here will know that i am a big Dave Jones fan. But like i said last week i have lost faith in him and find him to be very disrespectful at times. At the moment, something is up within the club. Dave said on Friday for all the team to stick together. This has not worked and we continue on a very bad run which can only be described as relegation form. He is using exscuses every game, these exscuses are bad errors from defence etc etc but yet we make the SAME mistakes week in week out so obviously he is not addressing the problem right. If there has been a bust up in the dressing room then personally i dont think DJ is the man to encourage the players, he doesn't show any emotion and the warning signals are starting to appear. I thought today would be a new start but yet again a shocking display.

In my opinion Cardiff need someone to bring inspiration to the players. Someone who will stand by his team and has recent experience of winning this league. That man for me would be Kris Houghton.

Its not that i think DJ has become a bad manager in the space of a few weeks because he hasnt but i got a bad feeling that this form is going to continue through to the new year and we will find ourselves in 7th/8th even 9th position. Looking at the teams below us we are now just 2 points infront of leeds united who had a fantastic result against burnley away. Cardiff seem to be returning to old ways where when we go 1-0 down we either draw or loose the game. I think Dave Jones has served us really well but with money being made available in January, now could be the time to bring a new manager in and inspire the players.

All i ask you my friends is keep the faith, no matter what, we got a club we can be proud of.

i disagree yes chrish houghton done well at newcastle but he had time to gel with the players before taking over as manager and didnt join them from new... same as avram grant took over chelsea and got them to champions leauge final but went somewhere else and have been more or less awful so i think houghton could be the same

I'm not sure that Chris Hughton is the answer to our problems, as a lot on here are suggesting. He managed to galvanise a disparate squad and he has to take a huge amount of credit for that, but it was made easy for him in some ways. He'd been at the club for a long time and he knew the players and he had some very good players who he managed to keep hold of. These players had respect for him. Put him at a club where he doesn't know the players and is unfamiliar with the club, where he has to essentially start from scratch, and then see how he gets on. Sacking Jones and getting Hughton in would be too much of a gamble in my opinion
