The FSF are backing the bill to safe standing. The aim is for the government to allow clubs in the english leagues to be able to build safe standing.

I've said it time and time again, there's nothing unsafe about standing.
It's overcrowding that's the problem.
Everytime a goal is scored, people are on their feet, jumping around, hugging, high fiving, whatever, and there's never (or very very very rarely) a problem.

I would say though, that there should be designated areas for it. And if people get a ticket in a seated area, they can't complain about not being allowed to stand.

well if they bring this in it will sort it out once and for all. the atmosphere would be much better as well. and the capacity would increase as more people can get into a terrace. imagine the whole canton block 104 to 108 as terracing, would be class.
