I've got a lot of time for Derek. He's such a genuine bloke. The BBC does make some horrific choices with its presenting roles though. It's all about who you blow, not who you know.

I speak to a lovely 'old dear' in tenerife when we go on hols,she was Brockways teacher when he was in school,even she cant believe how he managed to get that job,she said that he was a very quiet and shy lad that kept himself to himself,must of come out of himself when he met Mr Boyce.
