I heard that 4 characters were killed off. I've seen Ashley, Molly and Peter go but is there someone I missed? Even the tram driver survived

I thought it was shit to be honest.

It's either Sunitta or Rita... they can't kill of the icon that is Rita surely! I'm guessing it's Sunitta.

That's what I thought. At least the young, attractive, teenage lesbians are safe, so plenty more mileage in that storyline yet

It was really poorly done, and nobody was even confirmed as dead last night. Ashley was dead beforehand and we're left assuming that Molly and Peter die.

And who the f**k calls their kid Hope Stape?

I thought that was a funny name too. and why would he throw the hammer away? A potential murder weapon

Would have been magic had it clubbed Becky on the head and killed her too though

Who the f**k shags a fat ginger biffed lass anyway??? He clearly hasn't got very good decision making skills!

Wish Claire had died with Ashley. I don't watch it much but have seen it enough to know she gets on my tits. Corrie doesn't really appeal to me though overall. Before this storyline they tried to make it too life like and the storylines were dull. At least Eastenders realises its not a reality TV show and has some fantastic, albeit unbelievable storylines.

He didn't even try and shag rosie when he locked her in the attic :?

The good thing about Corrie is it's escapism from reality. Eastenders is just too grim, really with some really really crap characters

Did anyone watch the prgrammes that followed?

The glum bitch that plays Sally "I thoguht it was great when Sally Webster got breast cancer" - that bit her on the arse!

Hahahaha, whoops. Not the best thing to say!

Thinking about the clash between Eastenders and Coronation Street isn't it amazing how different Britain is to America with its soap operas. There aren't really any American soaps as big as those two over there but then Britain doesn't have a 24, Walking Dead or CSI to offer.

I wonder if it will be long before Britain invents a 24 episode, once a year, mega budget TV series or if America actually starts to show a 4 night a week soap opera that grips the entire nation.
