If you were VT would you honestly give DJ millions more to spend on his choice of players? I wouldn't as he has bought or loaned (at considerable cost) some rubbish in recent times and what's to say he wont do it again.

Exactly right. We all know there's a problem with Chops, but he's one of the
best (if not THE best) finishers in this division. Obviously Davey Boy Jones
has given up with him. Same as he gave up with McCormack, same as he
gave up with Gerrard.

But what if VT gives Jones 2m to replace Chopra.

My fear is he buys another dud.

And you watch Chopra fly wherever he goes (see Anthony Gerrard, Hull City!!!!)

dave jones 'SHOULD' be able to get us up easy with the squad we have. with or without no players. guess we'll mhave to wait and see

I am genuinely interested in the views and news that come from the messages on this forum. However, I am finding that increasingly that some of the standards of spelling and grammar are embarrassing.

Some messages I actually can't understand.

I feel it brings down this otherwise excellent football message board.

We aint going to be second much longer with a 5 out of 18 points yield from the last six games. Let me explain at that rate we'll get end up with 28 points out of the remaining 78 points available this season.
That is equal to NO promotion and not even a playoff spot. The right to complain somewhat about DJ valid, maybe not all his fault but if you go swimming your going to get wet, and the finger is definately being pointed at him.

The opinion is that the squad is there and we don't need strengthening, I agree. We just need to get the best out of them which we are not.

Having said all that this team can claim all 78 points providing they and the manger get their shit together!

I'll settle for 50 though

The squad is thin and will not get us promotion.
e.g Rae,McPhail
Still if it gets Jones the sack and next season we've down
to 13k gets then its great then isn't it.

Gerrard are flying all the way to division 1 at the moment
