I watched a programe last week about the EDL and UAF.
This is my opinion and I may get slated but the UAF are a bunch of tree loving, do-gooding freaks, they cause the most trouble. I am no way saying that the EDL are angels but the problem with the EDL is that they have a number of wannabe nazis who are tagging along. That is not what the EDL stands for. there are points that the wdl raise which are on par with my way of thinking.
yet, there are some which i don't agree with.
it's the same as the policies of all the politcal parties.
if we could pick the best policies from them all we could create a party for all, until then we will have several parties with several good policies.
as for racism i am totally against it, the same as extremism.

Simply because what I DO know about the wdl leads me to believe that most are true to their(wdl) stated aims, with a small minority displaying racist views. This small minority, knowing the bbc, will be magnified to make it look like the whole thing is full of the element.

well I dont fib and I can tell you there was loads of racist chanting coming from the english defence league outside the city hall

lots of references to " pakis " and allah being a paedophile

I cant stand the extrtemist muslims but the edl dont speak for me and not many others either given they didnt bother turning up in cardiff in june

I have no doubt that plenty of people who think the edl are a good organisation are not knuckle dragging racists

but this woman was not the only racist in that small number of edl who were outside the city hall in june

if the edl etc want to be taken seriously form a democratic political party

it hasnt done the bnp much good though , people on the whole in this country dont like extremist groups

same with the ultra far left ..they never get any votes either

it's just the same as saying that all muslims are terrorists, all christians are murdering crusaders and all city fans are hooligans.
there are bad elements in all walks of life/religions/political parties, lets not tar all with the same brush and be able to listen to what is being said without a prejudiced view.
