He gets his 15 grand or so a week,( due to the Riddler), when really it should be around 3 grand a week and the rest made up of performance related payments for points gained,etc. It seems he cant be sacked whatever the results due to the rolling contract the riddler gave him, surely this cant go on for ever though!
