Biggest problem is the 800k pay off that DJ would get. There is no point in changing the manager at the moment as whoever came in would have to work with the current squad which needs a major defensive overhall (the only 2 i would keep are Blake and McNaughton). See what position we are in come the start of January then make a decision.

You are probably right there F.B - I think the difference being under those managers was that we were so poor , so fans expectaions were virtually zero. This season the expectation is huge.

All I will say about my stance on Dave Jones is that 1 minute is a long time in football.

I cant also think of any better managers around who are available off the top of my head ?
