Every One Needs To Calm Down!!!

Ok so i am not going to lie but i aint over the moon about just one point but its better than none! What i did see from them today was more fight in the game , and IMO i thought we were unlucky, but fair play to preston they put their bodys on the line, but when your bottom you have to do that !!

Look were 2nd and people are still moaning! Rember this is a hard league! 6 Months ago i thought we wouldn't have a team to surport , but look at us now! Having a bad run, still 2nd and got one of the best teams in the league and got owners who look like they are running this club propley and putting money on the table for us! Could be a hell of alot worse!

As for the DJ Haters ,
Ok im not his biggest fan , and admit he makes mistakes big time and does not take the blame ! But his been buliding this team over the years since his been here! He allwaysed had to sell and not much money to buy! This team is his own and atm its 2nd while beeing on a rough patch! So how about we all back the man , even if you hate him or love him just back the manager of our team we love ! Show him and the players the surport win or lose! After all he has taken us to the fa cup final and play off final last year ! Now this year he will take us to the premiship !!

this aint a hard league, if we dont go up this year then i can never see it happening,last year ,i thought ,top 3 ,newcastle, west brom , middlesbourough, to go up, that left at least 8 teams or more battling to go up , ok we done good really to reach the play off final,,,, but who is that good this year,, i know people say, anyone can beat anyone, but, on paper we are well ahead of everyone in this league, but we are looking like a mid table side,,,,,, were still second in the league cause the others aint that good, and icant see any team this season putting a good run together, like the past, we just got to sort ouselves out ,this is a mediocore league ?

These people are totally missing the point. No one is whinging becuase we are only second. We are whinging because it looks like we could blow it. These people should look at why we could blow it instead of saying we are 2nd, 10 years ago, etc etc.

Agree, we can't keep harping back to when we were in the dungeon.Jones keeps saying " If you said at the start of the season we would be second blah, blah, blah"). Yes that would be partially true but 6 weeks ago we were top & there was daylight between the third club, 6 games on & 13 dropped points later the gap has evaporated. Once again we've hit a awful run & Jones does'nt seem to have the ability to get us out of it.We won't go up with him in charge, the same flaws will come back to haunt us as in previous seasons.

think rumours about unrest getting blown out of proportion, if they werent arguing as they not playing well then something would be wrong...it is a good thing, not a bad thing..
spoke with Jay and whitts a couple of weeks back and you can tell that the way that they speak about D.J that he his well respected by the team.

DJ might not have the charisma that makes him popular with supporters but he certainly has it with the players..and that is what counts.

If one point from three home games is something we shouldn't be concerned about then there's no point in getting involved. The players don't seem to know what positions they're playing which is a management problem. Tactics are ineffectual which is a management problem. Players are breaking down too often on top of which we sign players who are incapable of playing for medical reasons. That is a management problem. If management are bringing in players that don't perform it is a management problem. If players performances slump it is often a managemnt problem.
If Jones thinks he's unlucky then we have to ask ourselves, can we afford an unlucky manager?

good post, agree with most but the part about our fight, did you see how many times our defence got caught on the back foot? Had Preston been a better team with a pacier CF than jon parkin up there they could have put the game to bed like when parkin (the fat b*stard) paced Darcy blake to the ball then luckily for us it hit his knee, had thet been a better striker-goal. and i lost count of how many times the CB's got left behind. we can take posatives from this game but other teams are just gonna keep capitalizing on these flaws
