Phatfrog you seem like you have a brain so for you're benefit I will say against QPR I thought he was one of Cardiff's better players on the day. Big, strong, imposing, breaks up play & virtually dominated our best CM Ali Faurlin. Thought he was decent.

Oli does the simple things. What I like about him is he can often have 2 or 3 players on him but still somehow manages to retain the ball. Until he passes it, not a great passer He's the strength that our midfield has been missing for some seasons. Bellamy.....well, he gives his all. Gets frustrated when things dont work....the lad shows passion which alot of fans always slate our players for not displaying. I actually think he's too good for us. Alot of passes etc he makes are a step ahead of the team and they just can't read what he does and miss the opportunity.

He was fantastic up at Derby. Thought he was poor last weekend.

Yes i was there and he was alraight in those games and ill make it two now with doncaster
but when we need someone in the middle of the park to step up he dosnt
hes as much at fault for goals we have concided than hudson and gyepes
but ever since the bristol city game hes been useless
and thats something like ten games now
and not including the sitters hes missed too

Problem with Oli is he is there to break down attacks, Preston had very few attacks so he was basically wasted today IMO

He got an assist today I think.

He has been poor lately in terms of defensive, but today he was poor in offence. He isn't an offensive player and a standard of 'poor' puts him above a lot of other players today.

Oli was class before his injury. Not been the same after he returned.

People have also failed to notice the formation changed - before, he was one of three in central midfield - purely sitting in front of back four, breaking up attacks. Now, DJ has gone two in the middle - different role for Oli. I'd say that accounts for part of the reason he's not as impressive as he was.
