Mark Kennedy!

Sat Dec 04, 2010 6:33 pm

For all those who used to slag him off, how much could we do with sparky now, I know he is injured but a fit Kennedy gives use balance and and a solid defensive side to his game. I for one can see how much we miss his experience also.
Any comments?

for christ sake, mark kennedy was woeful!

a slow left mid with turned into a slow left back with no defennsive capabilities.

and for a ''cultured'' left mid, the ammount of times he would get into a crossing opportunity and put in a shocking cross would drive anyone insane.

add the fact that he would go through a whole game and not pick out one cardiff player, just hoof it up the line aimlessly.

he was shit.

Is this the same Mark Kennedy that had Routledge in his pocket? He isn't quick, but his experience allowed him to take up the correct positions and read the game. He did a solid job for us and would be a lot better than Naylor for us right now.

You wouldn't notice mark Kennedy much in games but you wouldn't notice his opposition winger in the game either, routlege getting past him twice in the same game isn't exactly bad, we know 1st hand how good he was in this league if he did in fact get past Kennedy twice as u say QPR didn't score cause that game was 0-0. I'm not saying he is the reason our defence is poor I just think he is far more dependable that naylor, should have stuck with him.

fair points you make, but kennedy must be 35 now? very injury prone so that would leave the defence with no consistency.

Kennedy is better than Naylor, but let's not kid ourselves MK was near his sell by date.

disagree 100%, atleast naylor offers us SOMETHING going forward and will put in the occasional good cross, unlike kennedy.

Your right wrong side of 30. Naylor is such a let down, I thought he was going to be good especially cause he stalled in signing for us cause his agent was trying to get him a premiership club!
