These are my Five players i would buy in Januray

Centre Half - Anton Ferdiand ( Think he could do a job outside the prem and dont think he would cost much )

Midfielder - Lewis Mcguan ( Probs a long shot but i would give it a go, probs looking at 2 millon tho but scores goals )

Back up for Jay - Ameobi, Rangel, Parkin,Holt,best

Attacking Mid for cover or starting over burke - Wayne Routledge worth a punt in my eyes

Left back - Would have gone with Ian harte but now at Reading but other then that i will go for danny fox of burnley think he could do a job

Bring back Gerrard aswell

Ferdinand is lightweight.
M cGugan, absolutely zero chance... 2m? Add quite a bit onto that...
Backups for Jay, agree with.
Routledge.... eh... utter cock off the pitch.
LB... Fox is a good shout.
Bring back gerrard? Bit difficult, he's on a season long loan... plus. let's be honest, remember how well he did against Burton? Overweight, one of the worst CB performances I've seen in a while. He's not that good...

These were just ideas, its quite hard to think of players that would come tbh

i wouldnt mind us trying for jonathan forte at scunthorpe he is only 24 and evertime i have seen him he seems a handfull and would only be cheap and is quick and powerfull

I would go for Kitson and Halford to start with both on loan at Pompey !

2 possable left backs kieran gibbs on loan from arsenal long shot but he doesnt play 1st team football and a 3 month deal may b easier to agree another would be pascal chimbonder how ever u spell it free to leave blackburn in january. Centre back may b that danny wilson liverpool signed from rangers could come on loan to get regular football at 18, i think wheater could b a good signing if we can afford him.

wheater & Oneill of 'boro ( out of contract and wants to leave, respectively)
J Lloyd samuel of bolton (not getting game time, surely would be better than naylor though)
ishmael miller or leon best ( out of favour at both clubs )
and i too would take a punt on routledge again

Mowbray ahs told Boyd he can leave,he wants to go back to Rangers ,could be an option/

Craig Morgan from Shef U!! bit of grit at the back

St Ledger, Tonge, Chimbonda, Lornegan and NIle Ranger on Loan
