I'm not one for advertising books on websites 
There is a book called Foul by Andrew Jennings published in 2006 that describes in great detail the level of corruption and general financial mismanagment that goes on within the FIFA regime particularly a certain Mr Sepp Blatter. It is very heavy going and difficult to read at times, the guy is a journalist for the Mail or Guardian so will use twenty words when one will do, but well worth a read. As above it was published in 2006 but neither FIFA, Mr Blatter or the other characters have sued him for deformation, etc.
Some of the stuff that goes on in FIFA makes Ridsdale look a saint!!!
