Blues and villa fans have both been getting stick on the radio today.

Its not just our nutters that get abuse in the media after incidents.

Lets be honest if that has been us we would have been vilified. Remember the Leeds game we mad eheadline news every hour, special reports made about us, radio stations devoting f*cking hours of endless mud slinging. theyll probably get away with a slapped wrist..... us we would be the devil incarnate.

Nonsense! Apart from the Leeds game, when was the last time we made 'front page' news? I detect a bit of a siege mentality has developed on this site and it's almost like people are wishing we would get back to making the headlines for all the wrong reasons

ok slaight exageration on the front page thing, but seriously any trouble associated with our club and we are dragged through the mire with radio debates of how marauding freing invaders raped and pillaged. I have NO WISH to see my football club go back to the dark days ever. Yes we have our own troblemakers but so do a hell of a lot of other clubs but you never hear about them but where Cardiff City is concerned thats another matter all together.

I'm sorry, Ceri, but I don't agre with this. We're no worse than clubs like Millwall, Leeds, Stoke and Birmingham. If trouble on the scale of last night had happened at CCs, then we would have made as many headlines as that game did, but no more. Chelsea was serious trouble, but that made hardly any news. It's the way football hooliganism reporting is going.

Spot on nottage.

There is a degree of paranoia amongst our support. A lot of the focus on hooliganism in the media depends on what other big news stories are knocking around that day. I have no doubt that there will be an enquiry into events at st andrews last night.

By and large we are quite lucky. The Welsh FA tend to be a bit limp wristed when dealing with these matters.
