Glenn Loovens - does anyone seriously want him back now?

When he left, I was gutted he went as he was a very good centre back for us. I don't think I really want him back here now, though. I've watched some of his performances for Celtic on telly and he looks a shadow of the player he was here. He's error prone and looks like he lacks concentration. And this, in the SPL. I don't want an out of form Loovens coming here. OK, I know an in-form Loovens would be unlikely to come here anyway, but if I was in Jones's shoes, I wouldn't have him back

I agree mate. I wasn't really that sad to see him go because quality centre backs are probably the easiest position to find at the moment.

I would have thought he would have jumped at the chance to come back, Annis. Like I said, I don't really want him back, but something must have happened here for him to have no interest in coming back

i don't no if you agree i rather player want to come back rather than we get him and he can't be botherd for it? thats all we need at this moment of time. i still think we misset a trick with shitu when he was on free. he went millwall for god sake.

Yeah, I agree totally. Not sure about Shittu, I don't think he's that great, but got to be a better bet than Hudson.

If we could get him back to the level he was then yes.
But at the moment he's struggling against basically League One opposition, not exactly a great prospect.

Don't see why he would come back now Paul Parry has moved on. No extra marital interest now.

Rather keep Hudson myself, although we do need another decent CB in Jan.

I think people are underestimating Hudson at the moment including myself.

Glenn was great with us and I feel alot of people are looking at then. Reports are he is not the same and my fear is we could have another Koumas. Then we remember Glenn turned us down in the summer and he becomes a bit of a risk. We look at Hudson who although far from perfect is not as bad as last season. The more I think about it I think Hudson has the edge.

Nothing wrong with Hudson be a big mistake to take Loovens back.
Remember Hudson has played all season with no partner where Loovens had Jhonson
