My friend's wife who works for Cardiff City hasn't been paid

This is the umpteenth time they've failed to pay her wages, yet they can afford to pay thousands a week to useless gits like Jason Koumas and Andy Keogh to pretend to be footballers.

There's something about our finances that isn't being revealed, I think we may be in a bit of trouble because she isn't the only employee whose had their wages not paid.

Yeah, I agree that that is more shocking than our club potentially being in very big financial danger, and a family not receiving their monthly income to feed their children with. Totally agree.

do you mean this is the umpteenth time that they have been late paying her wages.
with regards to the wages some of the money comes in from malaysia and it gets held up by international procedure where they check for money laundering.
the monthly wages are now paid the last day of the month as i understand so there is still a possibility the money could appear in her account later today

They've told her that her wages aren't going to be paid this month, but hopefully will be paid sometime next month. They're just hoping before Christmas.

Baker you have raised some good points, its not fair that people who will be struggling for Christmas as it is will have to wait longer whilst the players get thousands paid. Its not the players fault as who would turn down money but this needs to be sorted. I feel for the un-payed staff. Also I don't want to get involved in an arguement about the other board but it seems unfair that they are laughing. How would they like it.

I know a few people who haven't been paid in various jobs for whatever reason. Could be a number of reasons. I know this might sound harsh, but so long as we can turn up and field a team every week that's what counts to me.
