Dave got the players to do it, Its just how he use's them, thats been his problem. Ok once they walk over that line he cant do anything more, but its how he sends them out is the key to it. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I just think of him as a good Championship manager to be honest, not a lot more. I dont think of DJ as much of a big name either mind.
My point was though that Jones has done it before, only last season Neil Warnocks QPR lost at Loftus Road 0-1 to Dave Jones Cardiff so im looking for a repeat of that :ayatollah:

I'm quite content with the fact sometimes teams lose games to the better team thanks. Unlike the hysteria that happens on here when that happens

Still a FAIL on your part though

The caravan thing really hurts by the way

Probably not as much as losing at home to your rivals though

I don't care what people think. We should beat QPR. Our team is better than theirs and our individual players are better than theirs. I am confident we can go there and get a result... provided all of our players put in a shift. Gutted that Chopra isn't starting but maybe he needs the rest.

I watched DJ on the Football League Weekend show on Sky Sports 1 last night and if you were to ask me if he was up for the game I would have to say he is exactly the same as normal. That is to say the normal play the game and not the occasion, it's only another 3 points. In my opinion he gets these things so wrong as Warnock will have his team right up for this and ready to rip our guys heads off if they have to, we'll see by 5.00pm tomorrow who is right but I think we will not lose the game. But please please let us score the first goal.

A few other things about last night when it was pointed out that we had won more points away from home this season DJ said but haven't we played more games away from home. The presenter said no Dave 9 at home 9 away DJ's answer was well we must be doing something right we are second in the League. Really didn't like a simple fact being pointed out to him but then again in his buffoon rant the other week he was askinh the media to stick to the facts. :!: :!:

Another thing when they came to discuss Aaron Ramsy going on loan to Forest he said we enquired about him but his club never got back to us, I suppose we will hear from Aaron in the next few days why he decided on Forest. Having said that we would have wanted him for the remainder of the season as we don't see the point in these short term loans.

I have to say he looked completely unconvincing when he was saying this and I thought at the time he's lying and when I read carls update last night I knew he was lying, but why :?: :?:

There was also a short interview with Craig Bellamy and I have to say there is a marked difference in the way he handles the media compared with DJ, chalk and cheese I'd say. If we do make the PL I think DJ will really struggle with the media exposure as it won't just be the local hacks asking him difficult questions.

On the point of Warnock being a big name manager well of course he is at Championship level and I wonder where we would be if Warnock was our Manager. Clear at the top of the table I think :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Not picking at things here, but why would that have been the case when we have used up our allocation of long term transfers? I also think it's hard to tell if Warnock would do well here. He does well at the 'unattractive' teams with rugged players. I can't see how he'd work with Bothroyd, Whittingham etc which means he'd probably ship half the squad out and we'd spend a season or two in transition.

Zabier we haven't used up all of our long term loans this season as we are allowed 4 long term loans of players under 23 and 4 of players over 23. We are also allowed a futher 8 short term loans a season although only 5 loan players can be in the match day squad.

As for Warnock managing unattractive teams I think Sheffield Utd fans may take issues with that, Warnock has a record of history of playing direct no nonsense football but lets face it we like to lump it long to Jay as much as we can. I have no doubt Warnock would love to have Jay, Chops, Bellamy. Whitts in his squad and he would get the best out of them. Consistently :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
