I think he'll be right, as long as DJ doesn't set up too defensively and let them attack us!
I think that if we go for it, we can win!

Well done on finding this article, but I'm very glad he's not playing for us.
Was pretty excited when we signed him as he looked very good for them. The amount of time I saw Langley shirking his responsbilities and standing around on the right wing looking disinterested drove me to madness. Get the ball, pass it back 2 metres and stand there. He couldnt understand the simple english phrase "track back". Shame as I geniunely feel that there was talent there and we never saw it consistently.
What away game did he score that belter of a free kick? (it's one of those drunken memories from a match of that period where they all seem to blue in to one)
I agree with him in terms of us playing the better style of football, but we all know what a Warnock team do. Our defence better have eaten and extra weetabix as they are going to get battered with the long ball and need to stand strong under a lot of physical pressure.
Anyway, I think QPR getting a man sent off would be worth a fiver except they always seem to get the decisions going their way, the ref a couple of years ago who sent of purse and someone else (memory escapes me) gave them every free kick and decision all game.
Let's hope they aren't quite as dirty as that disgraceful Palace performance under him a couple of seasons ago that saw Roger in hospital, chopra injured (we still won) and all of the team as black and blue as Geoff Boycott's mrs.
We can open them up but have to maintain a high tempo throughout, Oli vs Taraabt will be a belter of a tussle that I feel Oli can win.
I would take a draw now, but equally think we can win this (does that make sense?)

makes sense to me m8.
I remember going to the Blades away when we lost 5-3, 0-0 at half time. He scored a free kick that day if i remember.
I used to work in Sainsburys in St Albans yrs ago and Ian Holloway used to shop there when he was boss at QPR.
He used to always ask me how Langers was getting on and that he was happy having Ainsworth instead.
He used to criticise some of how he used to play just like u have, so you talking sense m8

Sadly, our team are out of sorts lately, and the pressure of the game
will see us sitting back and playing into their hands. The last thing
Warnock wants is our forwards running at them, but its our only
chance.

Sadly i think you are right Chief i have a funny feeling Warnock will out think Jones. If Jones goes out to tighten midfield and sacrifice width like i think he will do then we will loose. Hope i am wrong

thanks Luton
It was Sheffield, score 3 away from home and lose, unbelievable!!!
Bloody Warnock again eh.
With Warnock its not necessarily a case of being outwitted as he will set up his team the same way, tighly packed in defence, hard tackling in midfield and a big lump up front. Kick owt that moves.
For Cardiff they will be putting in some nasty tackles early on and trying to wind up Chops and Bellamy. Derry for right in Chopra's face a couple of times before and will no doubt be going for him again. They also know that Jay goes over easily and has a tendency for petulance and will play aggressively towards him.
If we can keep moving the ball wide and keep possession as our team are capable of doing we can try and move them around to wear them down, if we can do that then chances will come, we have to be far more clinical than last week and put them away.
Mind you, this is a great chance to win a mental battle with them and I expect an extremely tough game.
Can't wait
