If PR would have been honest and said we need money to pay the taxman, so we've started a season ticket scheme to get the monies.I still would have signed up rather than no more Cardiff City, does any one feel the same. Peter did n't need to lie to get our money.

And me. It's our club, I'll do whatever I can to help the club but all I ask is that they're straight and honest back to me

That's a great thought and yes there would be a number of fans who would have coughed up to help out.

However, I doubt very much whether all 10,500 would have done so. Indeed I would guess that only about a quarter of that number would have been prepared to gamble £300+ on the clubs future.

At the end of the day individuals rightly want something back if they are asked to contribute and the ten thousand got it through a 5 year price freeze, possible refund on promotion and an aspiration that the cash would be spent on players.

Unfortunately ‘honesty is the best policy’ isn’t always true.
