Leaving early

Sun Nov 21, 2010 2:00 pm

People buy their tickets they can leave when they want

With me , it depends, yesterday i had work at 5. I left after 2nd goal, as we were crap, were never going to get anything from game, plus wanted to avoid the queues and get to work. I take my 22 month old with me to ever game, sometimes i stay right til the end, sometimes i leave early. I leave early because i know the majority of people do not respect young children and barge past you. Fair enough some cant see them.

well doen to you if you stay until 95 mins every game, well done. but it doesnt make you a better city fan than another.

i stayed an hour after fa cup final and an hour after play off final, does that make me a more loyal fan, no it doesnt. i stayed their for my own reasons. like many people do at normal games.

the other day i stayed behind after leeds game for 45 mins :D

support is needed when you are losing or under presseure

revelry is when you enjoy the occasion

therefore i am a better supporter than you

and you're probably a better reveler than me

you wouldn't have left if we were winning neither would any of the other revelers

yes i would have left early if we were winning as i would still have had work.

i have supported the club since the days of barnet home with 2500, i have spent god knows how many thousand of pounds on watching city up and down the country, bought god knows how much mechandise, bought season ticket year after year.

i sing my heart out every game, away games i dont shut up for almost 120 mins and longer (depends when police put us in ground and take us out)

we need non stop support from 2.30pm until after final whistle, but just because i have other commitments and have to leave early, then that doesnt make any supporter any better or worse than me.

You shouldn't have to explain yourself then, it's the fairweather fuckers that annoy me

i know where you are coming from, you should see the kids in family stand, up 5/6 times a game to go and get food or play on playstation.

when my father used to take me to games, i wouldnt want to blink in case i missed something.

the fans need to get drummed up more before the game, get atmosphere bouncing, then the players will feed off it. but if the team arent playing well at home, then we dont support them aswerll as we used to.

i remember sometimes going two nil down at home and atmosphere would be amazing and everyone would get team going. too many new fans in such a short space of time hasnt helped this as they havent been there through thick and thin, fans that have been there over last 10 years and more, have seen where we used to be, so appreciate it more

you will notice at away games, fans are vocal, more passionate and support the team whether we are playing shit or not ( these are the fans i am talking about that have been there throught the shit times)

I'm a season ticker holder so is my old man....first time I left early yesterday.... few reasons...getting away from the stadium car park has become more than I can cope with...it really puts me off the whole day...two...we could still be playing now and couldn't score....couldn't give a f**k who thinks I was wrong to leave...I think DJ and the players were wrong to be such shithouses..... we all have our crosses to carry!!

If they want to leave 10 mins early, let them do it.

They payed to watch the game like everyone of us, they came to support the club & left early because they was soo pissed off because they way we was playing, who can blame them? Others have to get home/work thats why some left early too, cant blame them for that.
Dont know why people are having a go at them, they left for their own reasons, nothing to do with any one else.
I stayed until the added time, had enough of what i was seeing, no guts in the team. Does that make me less of a supporter than anybody else? If soo why? :ayatollah:

Many people leave early every game thats up them surely as they have their reasons I do sometimes if Im working and many like me yesterday left and watched it down stairs as it takes ages to get out of the ground as I sit in the ninian stand up the top and with 2 mins to go I knew it was over and watched the tv then left to catch my train.

I can not see how if you leave early you are not a loyal supporter or not as good as another supporter sounds daft to me
