i dont think anybody would be as good as dave jones. Hes been with us for so long now, he knows this team inside out. were 2nd in the league, and people are calling for his head. Just think back to august when we only had 3/4 subs on the bench. Were we expecting to go up then? I think there is too much pressure on dave jones, and if someone else came in then they would be under the same pressure as him, and probally if another manager was installed he wouldnt be able to get us to win every game either.

Mourinho or Ferguson as that is the only type of manager people will accept.

Jones has done well now is not the time to replace him. If we don't go up this year then maybe then we might need to replace him.

Theres no point changing him now as they are ALL DJ's players, I am Not a Fan of his and Feel Def This is his last chance.
Were 2nd in the league, So I cant really complain, but I just hope he can finally do it come May 2010 :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Neil Warnock, Ian Holloway, Darren Ferguson are All My Type of Managers, Ferguson did fantastic at Peterborough with No money, at Preston, they are deep Financial Trouble.

Roy Keane - doing a decent job with a sheit squad, they got no money as well. Will upset a few people and put a rocket up a few players arses and any he doesnt like will be up the road pronto. I like him, no nonsense or bullsit with him, same as a manager as he was as a player.

I would not be surprised to see DJ go by Christmas and see him replaced by the likes of Holloway. Olli would do wonders with our squad and I think quite a few other managers would as well. Dont be surprised to see DJ gone by the festive period as it will not be too late to ressurect our season.

No need to change him now, If he fails to take us up this year then he will have to pack his bags in the summer. :ayatollah:

Tbh BM following Cardiff no one knows what is going to happen. However we will all bet our lives that will happen in the summer if he does fail.

I don't get the "Darren Ferguson Appreciation Society." Yes, he managed to get the Posh out of the old Fourth and Third Divisions, but once he hit the Championship nothing has gone right. I think the Chairmen at the Posh and Preston were hopeful that his old man would lend out surplus to requirement players to Darren on the cheap! LOL!.
At the start of the season I kind of jumped camps; I now fully support Dave Jones this campaign and we run with him to the end of the season.
However, if we lose at QPR, which I now feel is more likely after Saturday, this November will be as bad as previous November's under DJ. It doesn't make any sense. So if this is a sign of how the season will pan out, (Under DJ Nothing will Change) we will not get promotion. Then it will be time to say cheerio to DJ.

Its how I feel and if I was in charge I would be willing to take the gamble in December and say cheerio then.

DJ for me, and I still fully believe he will take us up.
I dont think Oli would if he took over

I think it is a really complex issue changing managers mid-season; if many of the players supported the outgoing manager, they might stop playing for the rest of the season so it ends in failure anyway. Chelsea - three defeats in a row. Don't tell me that has nothing to do with the dispicable way they treated Ray Wilkins.
A pre-Christmas change might work if we were able to replace DJ with someone "better" - very high risk though.

im a jones fan, but if someone else i would like neil warnock , think he likes us as well , always wants us to go up

Jones is the man for this season if he fails then time to go but Warnock Holloway would be great but can not see them coming here now as Blackpool will stay up and Qpr may go up too

there isnt anybody else who in my opinion could do a better job than Dave Jones, what the bloke has done over last few years he should be praised to the hilts

maybe not everyones cup of tea by his no emotion stand but doesnt mean a thing

prob with this club is that too many fans want to know the goings on behind the scenes which really shouldnt be made public and cant wait to share it-its like a family, what goesa on behind closed doors should stay private-that i believe is why this club wil ltake a long time to move forward

GRAYHAM KAVANAGH
Player/Manager of carlisle united......
Has genuine passion for this club
and when he dosnt feel the players are listening he can come on and show them up like was needed against swansea/forest...
He'd at least be a good assistant manager

Really do beleive Sean O'Driscoll would do wonders at CCS with our squad.

I believe that either Gus Poyet or Sean O'Driscoll would do a better job with the current cardiff players and get us promoted. We are going nowhere under Mr Jones. Lost the dressing room perhaps?

Derek Brockway. I'd actually take a camp BBC weatherman from Barry as a manager over DJ AT THIS moment. I am seething. Disgrace.

Re: If not Dave Jones, then who??

The only reasonable choice is Darren Ferguson. The job'd be a step up, he's achieved success, got contacts in the game in the right areas, plays good football, likely to have respect. But i'd still stick with DJ.
