just spoke to my old man and he said something

Sat Nov 20, 2010 10:02 pm

interesting, he 53 years old now he been to leeds liverpool but his main love is cardiff city.

and he just hit nail on the head, if 23.000 people lose der patients straight away after a mistake by a player they will feel the pressure and yes they get paid alot money do to there job but we should be there extra man rather than fear factor. was interesting to listen really because i am younger supporter on what he said after when you think about it , he got a point (there be alot of ppl on here think its bollocks)

i am sure annis will agree with him as annis as been supporting Cardiff right from the bottom.if we had the same atmosphere against Leicester was hair on neck raising it would help the players.

just i think now the players are scared to even put pass out of play or miss a pass cuz us as supporters so wound up they want everything on a plate and right and everything perfect.

bit of random post but older people on this board will no where i am getting at.

it quite right to but i suppose it hard to change 23000 people going berserk over miss pass etc.

cardiff city fans are best fans in the world we proved that over and over again maybe the pressure getting to us wanting it so bad.

When fans get on the players backs they go 'hiding'. There was a lack of movement at times today as players didnt seem to want the ball. I wonde rif some of it was hangover from the jacks game , especially when we were 1-0 down as players dont want their own fans on their backs.

Fans should back players when they are playing poorly, VERY VeRY few don't try and the barracking and booing really really DOESN'T HELP THE SIDE.

i didn't mean it as a dig just was interesting to here what he said, and when you look back on few of the games its true i think players are scared of us because we expect so much but hey that's football same at every club

i dont agree, those players were, josh low, and rhys weston, a bad start by either would end up a bad game,, surely we have moved on?

every one has there opinions just my opinion we get on there backs to quick , Leicester game we won that game as fans if you ask me. prob one of best games to be supporting ever.

if we could get some of that spark back then i think it would help the players really.

Your man is right feller. I remember when we would go one down, we would sing 'come on city' for about D mins after to try and lift the team but it doesn't happen so much now. I really hope we can get more singing going at home. Otherwise the player will start looking forward more to the away games.

If 23,000 people lose their patients , that would be an awful lot of unhappy doctors  :D

And its "their" not "der" or "there" and "know" not "no".

And less of the "old man" bit - I am the same age as him!!

Bring back Spellchecker as a poster - and quickly

The supporters are important but I have heard the old days at ninian park the supporters turning on players for being gutless and yesterday not 1 player was good it was a terrible performance against a poor team again.

The trouble is we expect to walk this league this year me included and we have been brought down to earth with a bang with our last 2 games at home.

I am annoyed I do not know if I can afford a season ticket next year as I was made redundant last year and now earn a lot less so I am a bit worried that I will have to tell my son that we wont be able to afford it so I am annoyed as a lot of these players who looked like they can not be bothered yesterday earn in a week I earn in a year I did nothing wrong yesterday but I had to work today but they had a day off even Bellamy who was rubbish yestersday is sat on sky earning more money today so I am a bit peeved at them to be honest
