first of all i agree with you and many, that the family stand should be moved, to create a better atmosphere, but after today, i know it was only a scuffle ,if that, but, if you did put the boys down that end, would it have turned a bit nastier,i think the city fans know there on camera, but the away fans dont know, can nash & co use this as an escuse?

I Honestly believe if the Club met with Certain Groups of Supporters, We could work this out and get an Atmosphere going in the ground

yeah, ok, it was only 3 or 4 of them, and it was stewards there, there is this thing of keeping a low police file, but if the city are paying for them ,use them,, im all for getting the atmosphere up, we managed at ninian so why not here?

Ok, call me thick if you will, but I don't understand how moving the familly end will help the atmosphere. There are plenty of fans in the Ninian next to the away fans, and we still have this problem. Take Anfield for example, noisiest part of their ground is the Kop obviously, other end of the pitch to the away fans there, same as at CCS.
For me the real issue is that we have, I dunno maybe 5-10,000 fans who like to sing, chant, make a noise, now you have 10,000 who don't. Whether they're new fans or just old farts like me who knows?
For me, "back in the day" the noisiest part of NP was the bob bank, thousands en masse making a hell of a noise, these days, the nearest thing we have to that is the Ninian stand, but it's like a library there, meanwhile you've got a core of lads in the middle of the Canton, might be best if they moved to the Ninian?
I'll freely admit, I don't sing that much, used to when I was younger but not so much now.
It's been said somewhere else that singing started and the lads "had a look" from those who wanted them to shut up?? What the f**k? City lads being silenced by a LOOK????
I may like to sit there quietly and enjoy the game, but i'm sure as hell not going to complain if a bunch of lads stand up in front of me and sing. I'd just stand up myself.

Problem is who and how many people are willing to give up seats?
From what I understand most people are happy in the family stand, the Ninian STand is almost full of ST holders (I couldnt get 3 ST tickets together any better than block 113).
I just cant see this swap ever happening for that reason alone and especially while the club believe its saving money and is working well.
