How on Earth Did Koumas Get 90 Minutes Today?

Sat Nov 20, 2010 7:30 pm

I couldn't believe what I was watching today and it gives me absolutely no pleasure in saying that a once great footballer player is not just over the hill but is at the bottom of the hill on the other side.

It is difficult to think of a single positive contribution from him today or to imagine one from him in the rest of the season IMO he is not even worth a place on the bench.

Losing Chopra was disappointing today but leaving Keogh on the bench beggers belief when you know your team is effectively playing with one man less.

Jay was having a torrid time with the Forest CB today and IMO it would have made more sense to play Keogh up front with Jay rather than Bellamy.

That would have allowed us to pull Koumas off bring on Drinkwater move Whitts wide and forward and take the game to Forest. Leaving Koumas on only served to take the right flank out of the game as far as Cardiff was concerned and made life so very much easier for Forest.

How our manager could not see this is beyond me but having said that it's not like we haven't seen this sort of thing before is it. :o :o :o
