Funny how we see things differently but I actually thought Whitts was one of our better players today and for this reason he never stopped looking for the ball. He never went hiding for a single second of the game can we say the same thing about Koumas?

The thing about not being able to shake the marker is credit to the way Forest applied themselves to this game they never gave a Cardiff player a single second on the ball without pressing wherever it was on the pitch. We never press opposition in that way and are always happy to let them have the ball until they get about 30 yards from our goal, then we hope to force them to shoot or give the ball away. Sadly one shot their vfirst on target flew in today and that was the game. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Good post and very good points. I actually made a comment in the pub post match discussion that I thought Whitts was off the pace and not at his best today. What you say about Forest's game plan today, probably suggests why Whitts appeared to be pants and well of his best.

He wasnt at his best but he was asked to do two different jobs.
1st half he was along side Oli in CM who lets be honest looked totally lost today but fairness to witts he still kept looking for the ball.

Second half DJ's decision to move hi wide left was stupid especially when you only have Drinks and Oli in the middle, from that point he did little unless he moved inside (which left us exposed wide)
