On 16 November 2010 Chasetown won a £10,000 Makeover Competition from the Evo-Stik League. After a month of voting between five clubs chosen for the final round, things were still very tight on the last day between the Scholars' video bid and that of local rivals Rushall Olympic. Just 2% separated the two Midlands sides in the final reckoning, but it was the Scholars with the help of Cardiff City fans who will claim the £10,000 voucher from Travis Perkins builders' merchants in order to improve facilities at the Scholars Ground.
