I was in line with the challenge in the grange and olofinjana caught him halfway up his shin and his leg seemed to bend and looked like a certain break.

I think it was accidental as olofinjana was challenging for the ball, hope he gets better soon.

I was in the grandstand about 10 yards away. It looked more like a Gazza (FA Cup final 91) ligament job than a leg break. I don't think Oli touched him at all, it just looked like his studs were stuck in the ground

Ahhh at least its better than a break, hope he gets well soon, :ayatollah:

his knee bent back the wrong way, but the bend happened at the knee. usually when you see leg breaks it tends to happen halfway up the shin.

hopefully the kid should be okay

I was one of the photographers at the ground and got a good photo of the injury.

Owing to reasons of licence etc etc I cant put it on this website. However, to me, it looked like a break just below the knee.
Wouldnt surprise me if there is Cruciate Ligament damage.

Could have been his last match this season.

Hope he gets well soon.

 You know I was waiting for that comment.....LOL!

I only deal with fault accidents and, in fairness to Olofinjana, I dont think he did anything wrong. Its possible he got his studs caught in the turf.

Mate I've torn my ligaments and broken my leg, and I can assure you tearing the ligaments sounds better but was a lot more painful and harder to get over.

i havnt seen the tackle because i have just woken up out of a coma after bein on the piss. but it looked a bad one. from side on it looked like he went over the ball half way up his shin :?

na from our seats it looked a 50-50 ball both players hit each other, their boots and studs connected upon contact with the floor.
not sure about the injury but his leg bent the wrong way, and looking at the reaction of some of the players with hands over mouths and hands on heads turning away i would say it was a pretty bad injury
