Would they be putting in the cash now if they were thinking of going !??!!?!?

surely they wil be thinking of it as a few years project invest a few seasons and reap rewards - if it was a now or never they wud have flooded the cash in for giving the contracts to the good players and getting more in what ever the cost just to guranatee the top spot and take their money n run!

I think they are building the club and reputation - foundations and all that!

these board places were part of the original agreement signed by the malaysians in may. they have just been biding their time as to who they put in place.
the good news is that an agreement with langston must be almost there because without sam being sorted these people would not have been put in place.
shame really i would have used one of the board places for jay and told him he has to stay

Steve I thought the original agreement was for Tan/tg to appoint 3 directors who would have been Tan, TG and U-Jean Tan. This brings it up to 6.

Promising sign that they are tightening their grip, they now have a clear majority and no doubt now who is pulling the strings.

Hope you are right about Sam and it makes sense what you say, just need to sort a deal with PMG now, although not so urgent.

Also hope they turn the debt into shares as all we have done really is change various debts into one big one to VT since the last share issue in May.

tim

i know that these latest people to join the board had certain conditions that had to be met before they would commit and ultimatley invest.
that barrier was langston which tells me that the debt will be settled and we can look forward to future investment.

Well put!!

They are marginalising PMG more and more. VT gave them the opportunity to
get more involved, they decided to just sit back and take their slice. They will
soon be gone. Interesting to see their top LEGAL feller on the board. Pretty soon
it will be bye bye PMG, bye bye Rugby

Taffy

Pmg are being really helpful at the moment as they have had payment deadlines come and go without receiving any owed monies.
With regards to taking their slice pmg have agreed to let some of the debt be exchanged for shares so therefore keeping themselves involved within the club.
As for bye bye rugby there is a twenty year agreement in place which is legally binding and was also part of the heads of agreement between the council the blues and us so they will not be heading back to the arms park anytime soon as there are other plans for that piece of ground.
i would like to see the club invest money in the lights needed to keep the pitch in prime condition therefore stopping the egg chasers from ruining the pitch

I think PMG are just doing what they're told personally. I mention the rugger because of the
rumour that the Blues cannot afford the rent! Heads of agreement or not, if both parties
(ie the Blues and the City) decide a parting of the ways is in both interests then it could
happen. Perhaps the Blues could play at Pontcanna??
