annis i be honest with you he not big as people making out to be. the rep he has before he came here was ' lazy does not try and if nothing goes for him he throw his toys out his pram and he wants attention, he been with few clubs and lived off the transfer fees. wenger can say that but if he thought he was gonna be that good he would of bein harder on him.

he come here he flourished cuz he he got everything he wanted. i gonna be honest he goes anywhere else he gonna have big wage yes but he not gonna av all attention he wants. my opinon tho. if he that big lets see what 'TYPE OF CLUB' comes in for him, sorry for the rant but for me it gone bit out of control.

what happens when he has his next goal drout? how we will he react thats when we no he is top quality prem striker

my opinion tho :) :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

i think hes being hyped up to much,, how many times have we said on here he goes down to easily,, international football refs, will give him a yellow card, whitts was great last year 20+goals, he had a good season, and bothroyds the same, good start to the season,,, but to be honest,,, bothroyed wont be going to any world cups with england, he will get his chance, but, hes not a brilliant player,,,, hate to say this as a lover of cardiff city, hes being overated, sorry jay,,,,, i hope to god he proves me wrong :ayatollah:

Another reason why Cardiff is becoming a victim of its own success.

I think people are getting carried away here. Look I am very happy that we have another international player in our squad, but lets calm down he isn't Pele... yet

Well I reckon he's quality and could do a great job for us in the premier league if we get there. Let's be honest, we're a totally different team when he plays, not just for the goals which may well dry up again, but because he occupies the opponents defence and brings others into the game. I think he does a similar type of job for us as Kevin Davies does for Bolton - the team is able to play off him, and I'd certainly rather have him than Heskey or Cameron Jerome. He may not be Fernando Torres or Drogba, but I've no doubt there are quite a few Premiership clubs who would happily sign him.

I wasn't particularly impressed when he joined us, but I reckon he's been one of DJ's best signings.

Don't get me wrong i like jay and he massive for us but honestly what else has he done for any club really. he has never settled until now. Credit goes to DJ I reckon :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

IMHO he's our best player and I include Bellamy in that. His value to the team can be seen when he's absent, he certainly has the skill, size and ability to be a good striker in the Prem. Let's be honest if we lose him in Jan or June he will be very hard to replace, plus his replacement will cost big bucks. If he'd got his head down and worked hard when he was younger we would never have seen him in Bluebirds colours, I'm just glad we're reaping the benefits of his undoubted ability now and desperately hope we hang on to him!

Wenger didn't get rid of Bothroyd.

Liam Brady did.

And quite rightly so - throwing his shirt at a staff member on top of other incidents?
