Twitter news : MAcMcAuliffe Just spoke to top man Jay Bothroyd... he had some good stuff to say. Shouldn't be too long until on the #cardiffcity site

Could this be a sign of hope?

I see Jay being a bigger part of our team than Bellamy. We miss him more than bellamy when either are not in the team. I hope the Malays break there financial structure for him.

More likely about his England call up or goals last Sat.

personally now i think he should be at the top, yes he had doubters at the start of his city career but i gonna be honest i did rate him he just never had a chance...... its just bonkers to think he is in middle. fair play to the lad he does not complain he just bangs goals and gets on with it

can jay do it without dave jones tho, dave is always on his case which has brought the best outa jay. wenger couldnt do it and other managers have failed.

very interesting post as dave jones says ' high maintenance and likes attention' rest of managers he played against got fed up of lazy attitude that was his reputation before he signed for us.

I must admit I'd rather him leave for free in June than go in January for 3 million

i still think jay needs to be carefull,,,,,, is this jays level,,,, again if he does go to the prem,,,,,, is it going to be a top 4 side?,, we have seen others in the city team fail in the prem in the past?

another good point. money is not everything i suppose but depends what footballers want these days lol

also will he find the same form in a dif club for that wages? so many different things wish it sort it self out haha
