Depends on what boat you're getting mate?

Canal boats are not my scene.

Going out tomorrow now instead of today if you're up for it Ben?

i used to love my fishing, packed it in 10 years ago,,, my mrs got pissed off with me going out at all times , especially getting up at 1 oclock in the morning to go down the nash,,, fished with cardiff sea anglers from the age of 5, man of steel club, gwent, even a valleys club, cant remember the name,,, we fished penarth pier after closing time, and i climbed over the fence at the very end of the pier, casting straight out, i lost a massive ray off there, people went down the steps at the end to get it but,it gave one flip at the end and had gone, must have been fighting it fohalf hour,, same night my dad had a baby smoothhound of there,

let me tell you a little story,,,, i was 9 or 10,,, and we were fishing down monknash,,early morning,, a guy named richie morgan, great fisherman, caught a welsh record monkfish, going back early 80s, it was 50 odd pounds, on 18lb line, the weigh in was at the catterpillar plant in ely, so richie at the time had a mini coup,,with a small boot with all his fishing tackle in there, there was only one place for the fish, the roof rack, so all the boys strapped the fish on the roofrack, i was in with my old man in his cortina in front, sitting in the back seats, all i can remember is looking out the back window , seeing this fishes mouth being caught in the wind opening and closing, we laughed all the way back home
