QPR - Still Unbeaten

Sat Nov 13, 2010 7:43 pm

Is the fact that they are unbeaten causing them a problem, are they trying so hard to avoid defeat that they are not the attacking force they were at the very start of the season ?

Also they play Preston at home next week then they play us, do you want City to be the first team to turn them over ?

I want Preston to beat them then I want us to turn them over too, so we can open up a 7 point gap at the top ( providing we Forest )

Dont forget this forum has a bus running to QPR so get your name on it before it's too late

Every game is tough in this league so you never know. We know if standards drop you can give away points quickly. Preston are one of the poorest sides, but they still have players who can hurt you - Parkin, Hume etc.. so who knows. QPR have got the Jacks at home a few weeks after us as well.

Its a cliche but we've just got to keep getting the 3 points ourselves and the sides around us WILL drop points as we go along.

More than QPR though we need the Jacks to drop points as 1st or 2nd doesnt matter, we just cant afford to finish 3rd. Unless of course QPR go into melt-down which I cant see happening given their squad and resources.

Come on Boro !

No-one expected the Worzels to turn the Jacks over, Leicester to beat us...

Probably very long odds, but all the sides in this division have fire-power.

In some respects I think Carl is correct in saying that QPR’s main focus appears to be that of remaining unbeaten.

They started the season very impressively, scoring freely, but as the season has progressed their focus seems to have shifted to that of remaining unbeaten, which is reflected in the number of draws of which a fair share have been goalless.

The longer they remain unbeaten the better, as the main concern would be after their first defeat, they may change to a less than cautious approach and revert back to their form at the start of the season.

If they carry on chalking up draws at the current rate, they will be lucky to make the play offs. :ayatollah:

They could go unbeaten all season if they wish....as long as they keep collecting those draws and City rein supreme at the top of the championship. The End. xx :ayatollah:
