DEFENCE COULD COST US PROMOTION AGAIN

I thought they were so poor that it cost us last year and here we go again I am thrilled that we are top of the league again but I am concerned when you read the goal difference.

Cardiff City have scored 33 goals QPR have scored 30 but we have let 16 goals in and QPR have let in 7 so even though our great front line could be let down by our defence lets hope DJ is giving money in January as we need 3 good defenders I think.

Yep your right we got quality up front but crap at the back. really need to sort it out, Maybe Riggotts will help if he ever get off his Ass and plays for us.

we had the second best defensive record before today.
IMO Hudson and Gypes are average CB's but I think they are good enough to take us up.

The way we set up the defense are going to be put under a lot of pressure. It'll cost a fair bit to bring in 3 quality players so you might be disappointed. For now lets just get behind the ones we've got and give them the benefit of the doubt. All I've seen for the past few weeks is performance after performance of guts and hard work from the lot of them. They deserve a bit of credit.

Good defence or bad, all that matters is that we score more goals than the opposition. Scunthorpe got two - so we scored four. Much more fun than a boring 2-0 win, don't you think? Goals are the most exciting part of football - and thanks to Jay, Chops and the boys we've already had reasons to celebrate this season.

Iv said all along our defence could be our downfall. Riggott maybe an answer, but please DJ strengthen in January to make sure. 2 Centerbacks and cover for the big man up top and i swear we are promoted

After yesterdays attacking game in the 1st 10 mins - how grateful am i we played all out so quickly

BECAUSE it wuld have been a totally different result had they scored 1st
(talking to their fans before the game they said the worst they could have is Cardiff score in the 1st 20 mins and thats them gone)

Heaton saved us that game defence wise yesterday - Hudson had the best game i have seen him play (1st half anyways)

Something is not working - they are all over the place and NEVER talk to each other the amount of bitching that goes on is unbelieveable - and more so after a goal is conceeded theya ll go on hissy fits blaming each other!

Our defence is not good and a defintate downfall within the team - not saying "he is crap or he is crap blah blah" they just dont gel or play well together!

We need a new face in the back thats not afraid to control that area - this is where we could do with Rog and his commanding ways!!!
