Stole this from another forum I use,
What's your favourite piece of club memorabilia?
I don't have anything of note City wise, couple of programmes at present.
Clydebank wise I have the last matchworn shirt of Davie Cooper prior to his passing and the the last jersey worn by our record striker Ken Eadie who netted 170 goals in 313 games. Cooper netted 45 in 183 games over 2 spells, beginning and sadly ending his career with The Bankies. Got loads of other little pieces here and there.
What's your favourite bit of gear stashed away somewhere?

It was horrible when he died. He was still playing with us. I still remember the news coming on - I was off school with a cold that day.

He re-signed for us on Christmas day 1993 - best present I ever got having not seen him with us first time round.

Anyway.....your's is spot on for recent times. Had we beaten Pompey or Blackpool then I'd have had a few things framed.....maybe next year

shit-15 years since he died. I remember it like it was a few weeks ago. In 95 i was 23 and had just left college and was about to get married.
On the subject of the bankies did they have a midfield general called Gerry McCabe in the early 90s? I seem to remember he was rated highly.

Yeah, he was class! I only recall little bits, I was 6 when he left - just one of those players you never forget, and I saw him against us a few times. Over 250 games and recently inducted into our Hall of Fame.

I used to follow every level of football as a teenager/early 20something-match mag, 2 or 3 papers a day etc.. I remember the bankies in the SPL being part timers and the 2nd club in uk to have all seater ground and other trivial crap.
Sadly i got into beer and birds and stopped following football outside of CCFC.

Those were the days - women, and drink, have alot to answer for right enough!
Made an arse of the pic

He turned out for us a few years ago in benefit match, and often turns out when we get the old boys together for a game. He ran rings round the Partick Thistle team who were in the SPL at the time and he was 10 years retired!

That was my 2nd ever game at NP. Left when Luton scored their 3rd i think. Gutted. Hated Luton since then. Bastards. Not that i hold a grudge...

I have a badge with the legend ' I saw Ronnie Moore score'
On a serious note i went to a corporate do at the CCS and got in a bidding war for a photo of Ninian Park which had a photo of the last City team to ever play there from the Ipswich game with all the players signatures engraved onto brass plates. It's a superb item which takes pride of place in my living room but cost me £800 at the auction
However i bought it as an investment which will hopefully be handed down through the generations and one day when we are playing in the Inter Galatic League of The Universe it will be worth more than that chinese vase that was sold recently
