What's your favourite piece of club memorabilia?
I don't have anything of note City wise, couple of programmes at present.
Clydebank wise I have the last matchworn shirt of Davie Cooper prior to his passing and the the last jersey worn by our record striker Ken Eadie who netted 170 goals in 313 games. Cooper netted 45 in 183 games over 2 spells, beginning and sadly ending his career with The Bankies. Got loads of other little pieces here and there.
What's your favourite bit of gear stashed away somewhere?

Davie Cooper was a brilliant player. Shame he died so young.
My favourite CCFC memoribilia is my PLay Off Final Ticket in a special presentation frame bought for me by the Mrs and kids Xmas 2004

On the subject of the bankies did they have a midfield general called Gerry McCabe in the early 90s? I seem to remember he was rated highly.

Yeah, he was class! I only recall little bits, I was 6 when he left - just one of those players you never forget, and I saw him against us a few times. Over 250 games and recently inducted into our Hall of Fame.

I used to follow every level of football as a teenager/early 20something-match mag, 2 or 3 papers a day etc.. I remember the bankies in the SPL being part timers and the 2nd club in uk to have all seater ground and other trivial crap.
Sadly i got into beer and birds and stopped following football outside of CCFC.
He turned out for us a few years ago in benefit match, and often turns out when we get the old boys together for a game. He ran rings round the Partick Thistle team who were in the SPL at the time and he was 10 years retired!
