Would you take him??
ummm no thanks. cant see him enjoying cold nights at barnsley etc.
he a bit of fanny, and hes well past it. i get wound up enough at whitts and jay without another one joining us

hed be another hassalbaink or fowler but with a worse attitude
Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:20 pm
apart from the diving around, would he still have the footballing skill to offer a team like us??
Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:20 pm
I definetly would not necesserily first team player but definetly backup plus he has a lot of experience that players would look up to
Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:21 pm
and i reckon we could get him on a pay as you play deal cheap too

dont think hed have the pace to beet his man anymore though. he wouldnt get in before bellamy n burke. but it is dave jones so he might come in as captain

Always a big girl's blouse who lacked the necessary bottle and we don't want another past-it, overpaid player here. I hope we've learnt our lesson. However, Briatore probably hasn't leared any lessons at all

If we could get him on this then I think its worth a go, imagine we had him 10 years ago when he was at the top of his game
Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:51 pm
Get him on a pay by play deal
Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:52 pm
perhaps he can play centre back
Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:57 pm
If hes on a reasonable wage I dont see why not
yeah fair enough he is a tart and a bit past his prime but think of wat he will bring
I wouldnt play him before burkey or bellers but it only takes an injury, Id play him before rae every day of the week.
He would bring an extra edge to us (team and club)
Think what bellers brought to us yeah fair enough bellamy is 10 times the player and is also a natural leader and is playin for his hometown team but a week before bellamy signed everyone was negative.

You reckon this will happen?
Fri Nov 12, 2010 2:10 pm
i agree put him on pay as play contract,he could be a useful squad addition.
Fri Nov 12, 2010 2:29 pm
I think it could happen must b low wages and pay as he plays. was at one the best teams in spain last year, yes 37 is old but if it us or qpr id rather it be us he only going to improve both teams carnt realy hurt us,(could if he signs for them and does well)but get the defence sorted and back up for j aswell
Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:09 pm
Hes brilliant player, perhaps not as bright as hes been before, but still has that great playmaking ability
Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:30 pm
I'd rather we sign two centre backs first! We don't need any more wingers.
Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:37 pm
O yes CB are a must, We must seriuosly start looking for a front man to cover for chops and jay. As it is now Keogh really dont fit the bill.
Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:54 pm
Chris Egales would be a good buy at the right price.
Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:57 pm
you never lose class, speed yes but a play maker like him playing one of the top teams in spain last season and were saying no? offer him a contract till end of season AFTER promtion hes in titled to a new one. we are on a winner! we play atractive football and his years at arsenal can only help! SIGN HIM UP!!!!!!!!!
Fri Nov 12, 2010 4:57 pm
Yes he would do a awesome job in the Championship, I still think he's Premier league quality
Fri Nov 12, 2010 5:21 pm
look at edgar davids, people on here were saying "waste of space , lost his pace and would be crap"
yet he was one of the best players on the pitch when we played palace, his pace had gone yer, but the play, vision etc doesn't
unless your andy campbell
