Cardiff City and Europe

Wed Nov 10, 2010 2:47 pm

Just noticed Carls update yesterday.

A quote from Carl was:

The FAW told me today that they have not had a request from Cardiff City for over 3 years for City to gain entry to Europe through them and that if a request was made then they would look at it.

This would be great news.
Why are the FAW doing this?
Are they worried about Cardiff joining the english FA if we were promoted to the premiership next year, or is it to bring in extra revenue to the FAW if Cardiff suceeded in gaining European qualification?
The FAW havent been interested in years, or why the sudden change?
I would love to see the European days back at Cardiff and roll on the away trips... :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I can't see it being relevant if/when we qualify for Europe and no doubt the club sees it the same way, too. Not sure why the FAW has commented though
