In 1998 I interviewed Jason asking for his views on the then Bobby Gould and the welsh team, he replied he would rather watch Coronation Street.

You came to a football presentation night of ours once in Whitchurch. We got talking to you afterwards and you suggested that we get a chant going, ‘Perry for a Pay Rise’ , we did sing it a few times, but I always wondered, did you get that pay rise? This was around 91-92.

Also, does it piss you off when we play the Jacks, that there doesn’t seem to be the passion there in the players that you had?
