Port Talbot Football League

Mon Nov 01, 2010 10:16 pm

I know there's a few from Port Talbot on here. Anyone played or play in their football league ?
Only asking as we (Bryncae fc) have drawn against a club called Margam YC in the Intermediate Cup. Wondering if they are any good or how good a standard Port Talbot league is

Played in Port Talbot League since the age of 16 and it's a pretty normal standard of football. Played in the Bridgend League last season for Caerau Boys Club and got promoted to the Ameture League last season. Probably played against you Gareth. Someone on your team burnt their face last year I'm pretty sure at work?

Anyway, you should do them as they have lost pace recently due to their youngsters coming up and their old heads going to play for Corus Steel Exciles.

Thats right, Gleggers the Striker. Hes playing for Brynna this year. Caerau beat them 1st game of the season this year in Amateur League.
I played for Lewistown for the last 6 years but knew who he was.
The 2 Brothers playing for Caerau was good players last year. 1 up front and 1 on wing. I see Caerau are running away with the Amatuer league so far aswell this year.
