i think if jay does not sign a new deal

then it would be his loss really, the way he playing at the mo he could fire us in the prem league. me personally i don't think he get in the first team of many teams in the prem or be as affective as he is for us.

then if he does leave at end of the season and we go up we could get replacement?

Think of it like this. If he signs now he would only be commanding a championship contract and he would be on those wages even if we do go up but if he signs after we get promoted then he can command a much better contract for himself.

yea very good point, you think clubs mite offer for him? be interesting see what price they value him at now as we got 300.000.

He also picks up too many pointless bookings. This would not go unnoticed by any premier side and he is no good to anyone being suspended. The best he would get is a bench job.

Any contract he signs now I would imagine he would have a clause in it that it could be renegoitated if we go up.

I think he will sign in January as we will be in a comfortable auto place.
